Clarity is power. Assumptions are dangerous.

In today’s volatile economy the Business Health Check (BHC) provides business leaders an independent, objective view of how effective their organisation’s strategy is as well as invaluable insights into operational performance and market resilience.

Why it matters
  • The BHC identifies strengths, risks, and opportunities with precision.
  • Results are benchmarked against proven international best-practise standards, ensuring comparability and credibility.

How it works

Based on three perception audits in which each builds on the last, a complete picture of organisational health is uncovered:

  1. Strategy Audit – Are the business strategy and key objectives clear, realistic, and aligned with the CEO’s vision?
  2. Capability Audit – Do key operational systems, policies, processes and people deliver against measurable results?
  3. Customer Audit – Is the company meeting and exceeding expectations among key customers?

Outcomes
  • Clear scoring: provides a strong foundation for successful positioning.
  • Actionable insights: where to invest, where to adjust, where to accelerate.
  • Independent validation: trusted benchmarks, free from internal bias.

Investment

For a fraction of the cost of missteps, the BHC provides an invaluable diagnostic — positioning the business for resilience and growth based on clear, actionable insights.

Call to action

Gain clarity, reduce risk, and unlock growth based on a unique service that is more fully described in the following content.

About

In today’s volatile global economy, organisations must constantly measure and reassess their strategic, tactical and operational performance to remain competitive and resilient in a turbulent economic climate. The Business Health Check (BHC) is a unique, independent and carefully structured diagnostic service that measures how executive management, senior management and key customers regard organisational performance. Delivered entirely online, the BHC enables companies of any size, located anywhere in the world and in any industry sector to measure and improve their performance without the need for time-consuming physical meetings and subjective, long-winded discussions.

The service is designed to uncover blind spots, validate strengths, and provide actionable insights to help guide strategic and tactical initiatives on which to base enhanced operational performance and greatly improved profitability.

What the service covers

The BHC comprises three perception audits that are guaranteed to provide a unique 360° view of the organisation that will eliminate guesswork and expose gaps that can damage reputation and profitability. They are:

1. Strategy review

Without strategic clarity, operational execution and customer satisfaction measures lack context and are prone to causing confusion and performance disruptions. The strategy review is therefore conducted among senior executives and designed to evaluate how well the organisation’s top management team believes the organisation’s business strategy is positioned to successfully address market challenges based on the current documented business plan and aligned to the CEO’s vision and key business objectives.

2. Capability review

Strategy must be supported by operational capabilities and best-practise execution. Conducted among senior management and key support staff the capability review will confirm whether or not standard operating procedures (SOPs), human resource governance standards and risk management initiatives enjoy a common understanding in order to uncover and highlight strengths and weaknesses in operational efficiencies.

3. Customer satisfaction monitor

Customer perception is the ultimate test of whether strategy and operational capabilities are properly aligned and delivering market success and industry sector leadership. Conducted among nominated customers (generally based on the 80/20 rule) the customer satisfaction monitor provides an objective benchmark of how clients perceive the organisation and its actual performance versus internal, often defensive assumptions.

Methodology

The audits are based on internationally-recognised best practise standards and a methodology developed with support from leading market research professionals. The perception audits are hosted online for ease of completion and in accordance with strict standards of confidentiality that guarantees individual responses will never be disclosed to any third party. All responses are independently analysed, with findings presented in two formats - a detailed report and an executive summary for each survey.

Performance benchmarks

Based on carefully structured survey questionnaires the results are scored against clear, consistent and objective benchmarks that provide the following measures (rated from poor to excellent):

  • A score that demands urgent remedial intervention to be undertaken by the executive team.

  • A score that indicates that immediate corrective action is strongly advised.

  • A score that indicates reasonable health, with room for improvement in identified areas.

  • A score that pronounces strong market positioning, with the organisation well positioned for strong, sustainable growth.

Measurable benefits

The Business Health Check delivers immeasurable benefits that are easily identified, including:

  • Independent validation: Objective insights free from internal bias, politically motivated distortion and the evils of “Group Think”.
  • Strategic clarity: A foundation for leadership alignment and focused planning.
  • Operational improvement: Identification of efficiency gaps and governance risks.
  • Customer trust: Transparent measurement of customer satisfaction levels and market reputation among key customers.
